Okay, so, this is what we're going to do whenever DS! goes on Standby mode, or what other sites call hiatus. We don't want our viewers to be bored to death, so... we're giving you the opportunity to make your own pages!!
So, here's how you do it:
There are two types of pages on this site: "Essay" pages and "Script" pages. The "Essay" pages are written with the bright yellow font on the blue background. The "Script" pages, however, tend to have various characters talking with their own font colors, so it is written on the light background with a blue base text color. Whichever one you want to make is up to you. Here's a small tutorial for both types:
Essay Page
We have a base page for this format; it's what we use when we want to make a new page. All we do is fill in the information that is asked. To make an Essay page, just go to that link, then go to View-->Source. You'll get a notepad document filled with a bunch of html, and that is what you work from. You only need to know basic html, nothing fancy; just line breaks, paragraph breaks, bold, italich, links... that stuff. If you are totally html illiterate, that's alright. We have instructions for you below.
Script Page
Like the essay page, we have a base page for script pages, also. However, since script pages use several different font colors, it's not as easy as an essay page. You still use basic html, but you also have to change the text color whenever the character speaking changes. There's a good page for font colors and how to use them here, which is what I use whenever I need to find a new color. Again, if you don't know any html, look below.
Character colors for those doing script pages:

Yami Yuugi: darkblue

Anyone else, you can make up. (I know some of those don't show up well on light backgrounds. I don't bother to change them, because I'm a freak and highlight everything I read. And I don't think about the fact that others don't...) Oh, for both of those base pages, ignore the jumble of javascript at the beginning and end. That's wat prevents pop-ups and colors the scroll bars. All you need to worry about are the two "Title" sections and the "Content" section.
And, about those. The first "Title" is what goes on the top of your browser window. (For this page, it's "Yes. Hiatus IS specail. It's also special.") The second one is what goes at the top of the actual page. ("Make your own page!") And the "Content" is, obviously, where you put all your content!

If you don't know HTML...
That's okay! You're not counted completely out of this! All you have to do is send me what you want to be in your page in a regular email (put it actually IN the email, don't make an attachment). I'll HTML-ize it myself; it really shouldn't take that much time out of my day. There's more information you need to know, but that's in the entry forms below. Heheh, I rhymed!

If you want it/them up, you must tell me so, because I don't want to be assuming things that people don't tell me. It could get me in trouble. x.x
Also note that I may edit your page content to make it formatted better or whatever the case may be.
Now for the rules, which really should be at the top...
1. This is not a contest. The pages will not be judged, and all will go up if they follow the rules.
2. The page does not have to do with Yu-Gi-Oh! It can be anything you want. We'd prefer if it were funny, but it's okay if it isn't.
3. Be appropriate. This is a family site. Only moderate swearing, very limited sexual jokes, nothing over PG-13 rating.
4. Pages will be accepted from June 13 to July 7. Anything that is recieved afterwards will be saved until the next time the site is on Standby.
5. You may enter as many pages as you like.
